The Best of 2011: Favorite Recipes

It’s hard to believe 2011 is coming to an end, but what an amazing year it was. Brad and I finally ended our 3-year long distance relationship, we had the most amazing wedding day, and are now in the process of opening his own business. Life is busy and stressful, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

I wanted to share some of my favorite recipes that I posted in 2011, as well as some your favorites. Let’s take a look back at 2011…in case you missed it.

Top 10 Recipes of 2011

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcakes – rich chocolate cake, a peanut butter ball in the middle, and peanut butter cream cheese frosting on top…what more could a girl want?

Chocolate Chip Cookies – my all-time favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe. I will never stray from it!

Stuffed Pepper Soup – a thick stew-like soup full of veggies, rice and beef, a favorite of my husband.

How To: Make Homemade Pizza – The #1 search term that leads people to my blog, and a recipe that I use on almost a weekly basis.

Steak Fajitas – My husband loves any sort of Mexican food, and he was instantly sold on these fajitas. Combine them with homemade tortillas and you’ll want fajiatas every night!

Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza – This was my first time trying deep dish pizza and I was instantly sold. A flaky, buttery crust combined with a sweet sauce and lots of cheese makes this one of my favorite ways to eat pizza.

Homemade Flour Tortillas – Who knew these were so easy to make? And so much more delicious than store-bought!

Crispy Southwest Chicken Wraps – make your own Chipotle wrap, at home!

How To: Shred Chicken – a revolutionary idea on how to shred chicken with ease by using my most favorite kitchen appliance – the KitchenAid mixer!

Cinnamon Roll Christmas Tree – our new Christmas morning tradition, ooey-gooey cinnamon rolls shaped into a beautiful tree.

Happy New Year everyone! Wishing you health and happiness in 2012…

Can’t wait to share all sorts of new dishes with you! 🙂
