M&M Pretzel Treats

These pretzels are one of my favorite holiday treats – and they are so easy to make.  They taste just like chocolate covered pretzels, but are much less work! Plus, by using red and green M&M’s they can be festive as well as cute for the holidays. Of course, you can use different color M&M’s for a different look, as well as other types of Hershey kisses for a different flavor. These really cannot be easier to make, and are a great recipe to make with kids.

M&M Pretzel Treats

Square pretzels
Hershey kisses or hugs

Preheat the oven to 170 degrees. Unwrap the kisses and place aside.

On a baking sheet, spread out the pretzel squares. Place an unwrapped Hershey kiss on each pretzel. Place in the warm oven for 4-6 minutes, until the kiss is softened, yet still holds its shape. (White chocolate will melt more quickly than milk chocolate).

Remove from the oven, and place an M&M on top of the kiss. (If you are anal-rententive like myself, make sure the M is down 😉 ).

Let cool for 10 minutes, than transfer to the refrigerator or freezer until the chocolate is set.

These look wonderful and like they would be easy enough for even the youngest helpers. I know my kids will love trying these out. Thanks!

My brother brought some M&M’s with pretzels inside from the US and my son just loved it. This is such a good idea. Chocolate goes so well with salt.

Ahh yes, they would be perfect for girl’s night! I’ve also had some that are pretzels, topped with a rolo and then a pecan…totally delicious as well!
