Olive Garden Salad Dressing

I’ll be honest – I’m not a huge salad eater. I wish I was, but I just don’t enjoy eating them. However, Olive Garden is one place that I will eat salad, and I actually kind of enjoy it! For those of you who don’t know, you can actually buy bottles of their salad dressing from the restaurant. I considered buying some, until by sister informed me that there is a copy-cat recipe online that makes an dressing almost identical to that found  at Olive Garden. I tried it, aand while it is not an exact replica, its still a fantastic salad dresssing! It would also make a great marinade for veggies or chicken.

Olive Garden Salad Dressing
Yields: About 8 oz of dressing

1/2 C. Mayonnaise
1/4 C. White Vinegar
1 tsp. Vegetable Oil
2 Tbsp. Corn Syrup (I used sugar)
2 Tbsp. Parmesan Cheese
2 Tbsp. Romano Cheese
1/4 tsp. Garlic Salt – or one clove garlic minced
1/2 tsp. Italian Seasoning
1/2 tsp. Parsley Flakes
1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice

Place all ingredients in a blender until well mixed. If this is a little to tart for your own personal tastes please add a little extra sugar.

The dressing will keep for about 10 days if stored in an air tight container in the refrigerator.
