Spiced Pumpkin Dip

As Thanksgiving quickly comes upon us, time is running out to get my pumpkin fix. Soon, Christmas will be here and we’ll all be focusing on all things chocolate, mint and cookies! Until then, here is a great recipe for a spicy pumpkin dip that would be a great appetizer on your Thanksgiving table. It could not be easier to make, as there are only 4 ingredients, and it takes about 5 minutes to come together. This would be great served with graham crackers, vanilla wafers, apple slices, or gingersnap cookies.

Spiced Pumpkin Dip

Ingredients:
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1 (8 oz.) package of cream cheese
2 cups powdered sugar
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
(1 used 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp of ginger, and 1/2 tsp allspice)

Directions:
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients using a whisk or electric mixer. Mix until ingredients are well incorporated. (My dip was a little on the thin side, so I added some extra powdered sugar. This was likely due to the water content of my pumpkin)

Serve with graham crackers, vanilla wafers, apple slices or gingersnap cookies.

This looks tasty! I’m a cream cheese icing for Thanksgiving that’s similar in concept. I like the idea of making a dip and it would be fab. with apples!

Glad you liked it, I’ll have to try it with vanilla wafers next time!
